Bengaluru, 15th October 2025 – Shangri-La Bengaluru proudly welcomes Chef Simone Loisi, the celebrated Italian maestro of Southern cuisine, for a transformative culinary residency at Caprese. Fresh from the kitchens of Shangri-La Singapore, Chef Simone brings the vibrant tastes and tales of Puglia to the heart of the city, promising an experience that blends tradition, creativity, and interactive discovery.

Building on last season’s acclaimed event, which inspired guests to learn and savor authentic Italian gastronomy firsthand, this year’s engagement introduces an all-new “Guess the Ingredient” campaign. Every guest at Caprese will find a unique menu card featuring a mysterious missing ingredient inviting them to engage with Chef Simone’s dishes on a whole new level. Those who decode the Maestro’s secret will enter a draw to win an extraordinary Italian dinner, curated exclusively by Chef Simone.

Chef Simone’s journey from shaping pasta as a boy in Puglia to curating unforgettable menus at Shangri-La’s finest kitchens comes alive through every dish, each rooted in stories, memories, and flavors that transcend borders. The limited-time menu will feature highlights such as Burrata Pugliese, Funghi e Capesante, Penne All’Assassina, and more, each plate a celebration of Southern Italian heritage.
