Home Baker Kanika Chopra and Chef Mansi Seth Kapoor bring Treasured Flavours to Tamra

 (New Delhi, June 2025) — Shangri-La Eros New Delhi welcomes guests to a thoughtful and intimate Chef Pin pop-up at Tamra, an award-winning world cuisine restaurant that brings the world to one table. Running from June 12th to 14th, 2025, the restaurant will play host to a unique collaboration between home baker Kanika Chopra and Chef Mansi Seth Kapoor, whose food carries memories, rituals, and the flavours of home.

 For Kanika Chopra, baking began as a quiet joy. A self-taught home baker who turned her passion into a craft during the pandemic, her desserts are personal and nostalgic, rooted in comfort yet enhanced through skill. Her summer menu is a heartfelt tribute to mango season, featuring creations like Mango Tres Leches, Mango Swiss Roll, Mangoffee, and a delicate Mango Pavlova. Each dessert is layered with care, carrying both the freshness of the fruit and the softness of recollection.

Complementing these sweet summer notes is Chef Mansi Seth Kapoor’s Lucknowi menu, drawn from a deep understanding of slow cooking and royal kitchens. Spanning over three days, the menu serves a different set of dishes steeped in memory and tradition each day. The first day brings to the table the richness of Raan Mussallam, Chicken Badami Qorma, Mutton Yakhni Pulao, and Kathal Biryani, paired with delicate breads like Warqi Parantha and Roomali Roti, and completed with Rabdi with Aam and Zaffrani Firni.

 On the second day, flavours deepen with Mutton Ishtew, Fish Qorma, Dahi Kabab, Dal Sultani, and Tamatar ka Dulma, served with aromatic biryanis and the gratification of Shahi Tukda and Shakramba. The final day wraps up the experience with Mutton Boti Kebab, Chicken Zaffrani, Mahi Kebab Fry, Moong Dal Sabut, and Kathal Nawabi, with comforting classics like Gulab Phirni and Meethi Boondi with Rabdi offering a sweet close. Each dish is thoughtfully plated with accompaniments like Dahi Phulki, Amiya ki Hari Chutney, Galka, and Kakdi ka Achaar - bringing a sense of the everyday special to every plate.

Together, Kanika and Mansi bring different expressions of home cooking - one built around festive feasts, the other channelled in culinary heritage. What unites them is intention. Every dish, whether sweet or savoury, is tied to a memory, a story, or a moment of sharing.

 Guests are invited to experience this Chef Pin collaboration as part of the Lunch and Dinner Buffet at Tamra, available from 12 to 14 June 2025.

 The Lunch Buffet is priced at INR 3200 plus taxes and the Dinner Buffet is priced at INR 3500 plus taxes per person.
