(New Delhi, December 2025) From 3 to 7 December 2025, Tamra will serve a rich tribute to Japan’s culinary heritage with Crafted in Japan Unveiled at Tamra. Across five days, the restaurant will echo with the soft hiss of searing teppan, the clean aroma of dashi rising from simmering pots, and the quiet, deliberate movements of chefs shaping sushi with practised ease. This Japanese buffet is designed to transport guests into the soul of Japan, bringing together authentic flavours, refined craftsmanship, and the immersive dining experience Tamra is known for.
Set against Tamra’s lively yet sophisticated interiors, the festival invites Japanese cuisine enthusiasts, culture seekers, and curious diners to explore a curated buffet by Guest Chef Tetsuya Hattori, showcasing seasonal ingredients, bold regional flavours, and live counters where guests can witness the precision and artistry of Japanese cooking, all woven into Tamra’s signature “World On Your Plate” philosophy.

Across lunch and dinner, diners can expect a specially curated buffet featuring Okonomiyaki, Ramen, Tempura, and a rotating selection of daily highlights. Vegetarian options include Avocado & Tofu Salad, Teriyaki Potatoes & Mushrooms, Japanese Curry, Saikyo-yaki Tofu, and Veggie Croquette Balls, while non-vegetarian options range from Boiled Lamb Belly, Chicken Nanban, Saikyo-yaki Fish (Salmon or White Fish), Japanese Curry with Lamb Cutlet, to Grilled Lamb Char Siu with Boiled Egg. Each dish is crafted with attention to seasonal ingredients, regional flavours, and the precision of Japanese culinary artistry.
Complementing the culinary spread is an artful display; the ambiance pays homage to Japanese dining culture, creating a mood that is both serene and immersive. Tamra’s beverage selection will be available throughout, offering pairings that uplift the subtle notes and elegant compositions of the buffet.
Guest Chef Tetsuya Hattori brings over two decades of craftsmanship and precision to Tamra. Having honed his culinary journey in Japan’s esteemed kitchens, Chef Hattori continues to share the charm of Japanese cuisine with a new audience, honouring time-honoured techniques while embracing thoughtful creation.
The Japanese Pop-Up will be part of Tamra’s buffet offerings, priced at INR 3,500 plus taxes per person for lunch and INR 3,800 plus taxes per person for dinner. It will be available daily for lunch and dinner throughout the festival period.
