Running from 23rd January to 1st February, thoughtfully curated buffet is a revival. Rooted in traditional cooking techniques and inspired by local traditions, Sirudhaniyam Unavu Thiruvizha pays homage to India’s indigenous grains through dishes that are rustic, comforting and deeply evocative.

Each preparation tells a story of earthen pots simmering slowly, of stone-ground flours, of festive kitchens where nourishment was both mindful and joyful. Served in a warm, celebratory setting, the experience mirrors the essence of a village thiruvizha, where food was shared, seasons were honoured and simplicity reigned supreme.

Seafood finds a wholesome twist in the Prawns Koda Millet Vada, while vibrant plates of Samai Millet Stir-Fried Vegetables and rustic Foxtail Roti celebrate everyday nourishment.

Hearty regional classics like Ragi Kali with Karuvadu Kozhambhu bring depth and tradition to the table, balanced by the soothing comfort of Ragi Curd Semiya. The experience concludes on a naturally sweet note with Karupatti Varagu Laddu and Samai Laddu—desserts that honour sweetness in its most unrefined, nourishing form.
