Ski in the City: Club Med and TRIFECTA Bring the Ultimate Snow Sports Extravaganza to Singapore

Singapore, 12 November 2024 – Club Med and TRIFECTA present their latest collaboration entitled “Ski in the City,” a unique immersive event that brings the festivities of winter mountains to the heart of Singapore. Happening on Saturday, 16 November 2024, TRIFECTA’s indoor ski and snowboarding facility will be transformed into a winter wonderland offering competitions, fun activities, and a Club Med snow village ambiance.

United by their shared passion for ski and snowboarding, “Ski in the City” is the second collaboration between Club Med, the global leader in premium all-inclusive snow holidays, and TRIFECTA, Singapore’s premier board sports-lifestyle destination. This collaboration aims to make these sports accessible to Singaporeans in advance of their ski holidays through the Club Med Snow Academy by TRIFECTA.

In line with the festive après-ski vibes, the joy of giving spreads throughout the season: all guests will enjoy free entry to “Ski in the City” for a day of action-packed experiences, including access to the photobooth, giant snow globe, and more.

For young aspiring snow sports enthusiasts, there will be specially priced trial lessons to introduce kids to skiing and snowboarding in a fun, social, and safe environment. Held at TRIFECTA’s Dryslope Area, these lessons will help kids learn fundamental skills, ensuring they feel confident and prepared when they hit the real slopes. Limited slots are available for just SGD 10 each!

The signature event will feature a range of ski and snowboarding competitions, where local talents can demonstrate their skills on the slopes. Contestants across various age groups will have the opportunity to compete on ski simulators to win handsome prizes. The Team Competition offers a grand prize of a five-day, four-night all-inclusive stay for four persons at Club Med Sahoro, Hokkaido, valued at SGD11,950. In the Freestyle Park Competition, the grand prize is a five-day, four-night stay for two persons at Club Med Beidahu, China, valued at SGD 5,200.

Beyond the action-packed competitions, attendees will be immersed in an authentic Club Med snow village ambiance, thanks to the creation of a mini festive market at TRIFECTA. The snow village will feature an alpine-themed setting complete with hot chocolate, mulled wine, raclette sandwiches, a charcuterie bar, and treats like candied apples and pretzels. A dedicated photo booth, designed with a ski chairlift will allow attendees to capture winter memories. For families, there will be kid-friendly activities, including gingerbread decorating, face painting and a giant snow globe, making the event enjoyable for all ages. And, adding a touch of surprise to the experience, whispers suggest there may even be a snowfall that day, with a snow machine poised to enhance the winter magic in the air.
