Mahabaleshwar, 29^thAugust 2025:Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar is set to warm up the monsoon chill with an indulgent celebration of steaming baskets and soulful flavours this September. The hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, The Berry Library, will host its first-ever Dimsum & Momo Festival from September 1 to September 30, 2025, inviting guests to enjoy an unlimited spread of handcrafted delicacies while taking in the lush, mist-laden views of the Western Ghats.

Momos and dimsums have long been comfort food across Asia, particularly during the rains. Taking inspiration from this sentiment, Junior Sous Chef Raman decided to curate a festival that pays homage to both tradition and innovation. “It was raining outside when someone from my kitchen team said, ‘Abhi garam garam momo khaate toh maza aa jata,’ and that struck a chord,” Chef Raman recalls. “We wanted to bring that very feeling to our guests, simple joy, wrapped in a dumpling.”

The specially crafted menu features a mix of classics and inventive offerings, including Prawn Har Gao, Chicken Sui Mai, Mushroom & Spinach Dimsum, and the hearty Veg Jhol Momo. Each dish is designed to pair seamlessly with the crisp mountain air and the panoramic monsoon scenery Mahabaleshwar is famed for. The festival allows diners to savour unlimited servings across the spread, making it an indulgence well worth the journey.
