(New Delhi, February 2026) This February, Shangri-La Eros New Delhi invites guests to experience the flavours of Italy as Michelin-trained Chef Simone Cipriani takes over Sorrento for an exclusive pop-up from 4th to 10th February 2026. The week-long culinary showcase will present an immersive journey through Italian cuisine, where time-honored traditions meet contemporary technique, and each dish reflects Chef Simone’s dedication to sustainability and ethical sourcing.

Beetroot and Mushroom Tartare

Italiana. Renowned for its artisanal pastas, Neapolitan specialties, and slow-cooked, family-style creations, the restaurant will, for one week, transform into a showcase for Chef Simone Cipriani’s inventive yet considered approach to Italian dining.

Born in Livorno, Central Italy, Chef Simone Cipriani grew up in a family of restaurateurs and trained in some of Europe’s most prestigious kitchens. With international experience spanning Michelin-starred restaurants, private residences, and acclaimed television appearances, he has been recognized by Food & Wine magazine as one of Italy’s most influential chefs under 35.

Between 2004 and 2010, he solidified his professional path by working in renowned Michelin- starred establishments such as the two-star Arnolfo in Colle di Val d' Elsa, and Castel Monastero, collaborating under the consultancy of Gordon Ramsay. Chef Cipriani focuses mainly on private events and consulting, continuing to promote an ethical and sustainable approach to cuisine, with a strong commitment to using local, organic ingredients that are good for people and the planet.

For this limited engagement, diners are welcomed to explore a curated menu that showcases Chef Simone’s considered, contemporary interpretation of Italian cuisine. The signature collection features Beetroot and Mushroom Tartare, Fish and Pasta Soup with Parsley and Candied Lemon, Roasted Chicken with Olives, Juniper Dressing and Mint Salad, Grilled Tiger Prawns, and Peanut Parfait with Passion Fruit Sauce.

The set menu is available for lunch and dinner and is priced at INR 5,000 plus taxes per person, with an optional wine pairing at INR 7,500 plus taxes to enrich each course.
