July 2025, New Delhi:The aroma of the southern coast arrives in the heart of Gurgaon as The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi presents an evocative coastal pop-up at Seasonal Tastes, the hotel’s all-day dining destination from 24th – 31st July 2025.

Curated by Guest Chef Jagadeesh from Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa, Mahabalipuram to, the eight-day dinner-only showcase is a celebration of the diverse, flavourful, and deeply rooted culinary traditions of Tamil Nadu’s famed Coromandel coastline. Each evening will unveil a new regional trail of flavours , from heirloom recipes to festive favourites , reflecting the soulful simplicity and spice-laden richness of South India’s coastal kitchens.

Guests can expect an ever-evolving menu featuring delicately spiced curries, nostalgic home-style preparations, and signature regional staples. Think Madurai mutton nei sukka, Travancore roast chicken, Gongura mamsam, and Nadan Kozhi curry ,dishes that carry the warmth of tradition and the depth of coastal spice blends. Seafood lovers will be treated to specialities such as Raw mango coconut fish curry, Kothimiri prawns, and Meen Kal Varuval made with king fish, while signature biryanis like Ambur mutton, Chemmeen prawn, and Dindigul chicken make appearances across the week, each paired with fragrant rice from Tamil Nadu’s famed heartlands.

To further enrich the experience, a live station each evening will serve beloved classics such as Kothu paratha, Appam, Kari dosa, and Neer dosa, adding theatre and aroma to the dining journey. Vegetarian preparations like Siru urulai milagu podimas, Vendakkai peanut fry, Allepey vegatable curry, Water chestnut coconut curry ,Mangalore cashew curry, Okra lima bean masala, and Mushroom & asparagus tomato fry offer a wholesome balance to the menu.

No South Indian meal is complete without its sweet endings, and this showcase brings indulgent treats like Kavuni Arisi Halwa, Paruppu pradhamam, Thanjavur Ashoka Halwa, and the unique Elaneer payasam (Tender coconut Payasam) Vetrillai Payasam (a paan-infused dessert) ,that offer a fitting close to this nostalgic celebration.
