This October, a beloved icon returns — bolder, brighter, and more delicious than ever. The St. Regis Goa Resort is proud to unveil the newly reimagined Susegado – The Coastal Indian Kitchen, opening its doors on October 1, 2025. Nestled on the pristine shores of South Goa, Susegado invites guests to embark on a curated journey through the flavours, stories, and rhythms of India’s expansive coastline.

Long a symbol of Goa’s laid-back charm, Susegado now steps into a new chapter. With its evolved culinary identity, the restaurant draws inspiration from India’s coastal states — weaving together the peppery heat of Chettinad, the coconut-laced delicacies of Malabar, the bold grills of the Konkan, and the soul-satisfying staples of Goa itself. Every plate tells a story, each inspired by age-old recipes and reinvented through a modern lens.

The atmosphere has been transformed as well. Airy and sun-drenched by day, and warmly lit by night, the space is an elegant blend of rustic textures and coastal sophistication — perfect for long, lingering meals that carry the ease of the sea.

While every evening at Susegado promises magic, Saturdays bring something extra: the debut of Susegado Sundowners, a weekly ritual that celebrates the beauty of the Goan sunset with coastal cocktails, curated bites, and live entertainment. Starting at golden hour, guests can toast the horizon with inventive drinks — think kokum-laced feni, rum cocktails with a tropical twist, and botanical-forward libations that echo the spice gardens of the South.

But the Sundowner is just the beginning. As dusk fades, the experience flows effortlessly into dinner, where the full menu awaits — from banana leaf-steamed fish to Goan Cafreal reimagined with global finesse. It’s a multi-sensory celebration of India’s shores, elevated yet deeply rooted.

“Susegado has always embodied the soul of Goa,” shares Gurnoor Bindra, General Manager of The St. Regis Goa Resort. “This season, we’re proud to expand that spirit — not just through a refreshed design or an inspired menu, but by creating a complete experience. Whether you're joining us for a sunset cocktail or a long, indulgent dinner, every moment at Susegado is meant to slow you down and draw you in.”

With its pan-Indian coastal focus, a setting that stirs the senses, and the signature Susegado Sundowners lighting up Saturday evenings, the new Susegado offers more than a seat at the table — it offers an invitation to live, eat, and unwind by the sea.

Susegado reopens on October 1st, 2025.
