The Lalit Mumbai

The LaLiT Mumbai once again reaffirms its place as India’s cultural heartbeat with the release of “Cause of You bvby” — a stunning new video collaboration by Rahul Rajkhowa, ICONYK, and UpsideDown, filmed inside the hotel’s iconic atrium. The video — now the talk of the town — captures the soul of The LaLiT Mumbai, where art, music, and architecture unite to celebrate creativity and inclusivity. “Some spaces don’t just host you — they inspire you. Grateful to collaborate with The LaLiT Group, a brand that truly celebrates art, music, and creativity. From the vibe to the vision, The LaLiT became our creative haven for this project,” says Rahul Rajkhowa.

A National Award-winning singer-songwriter, Rahul Rajkhowa has toured 36 cities across India, Thailand, Indonesia, and Bhutan, performing genres ranging from Pop and Reggae to Hip Hop and Blues. With a global sound, he is the first Indian artist to release an independent Korean collaboration album with RnB star Jimmy Brown and has featured alongside artists like Jennie, Jungkook, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Rosé on Spotify Editorial playlists. He has shared the stage with global icons such as Ne-Yo, Steve Vai, Ronan Keating, and The Lumineers. Beyond music, Rahul is a History teacher, Visiting Professor at IIM Ranchi, and the founder of Rajkhowa & Arya Aid, a non-profit that has supported over 2,500 flood-affected families in Assam and rebuilt schools across rural regions.

Joining him on the project, ICONYK — a Canada-born, India-based producer, composer, and sonic architect — brings his genre-blending brilliance to the track. Known for fusing pop with poetry and hip-hop with folk soul, ICONYK has received a National Award for modernising Assamese folk music, composed for pop icon Sonakshi Sinha, and created music for Sanjay Dutt’s film Bhootni.

Home to Asia’s largest atrium lobby — a 96-foot-high architectural marvel — The LaLiT Mumbai is a living gallery of artistic masterpieces like Tripathga by Manmohan Bhaskar and Ashwamedha Turang by Satish Gujral, complemented by live performances from Zoheb Khan of the Banaras Gharana. With its celebrated F&B offerings and signature warm hospitality, the hotel continues to serve as a sanctuary for art, soul, and connection.

"At The LaLiT Mumbai, we see art as an emotion that connects people beyond boundaries," says Rohit Sharma, General Manager, The LaLiT Mumbai. "Collaborations like this embody our vision — creating spaces where creativity thrives, voices are heard, and inclusivity is celebrated."
