Phoolon Ki Holi Sundowner

In a celebration where heritage met haute living, The Leela Palace Jaipur unveiled an exquisite Phoolon Ki Holi Sundowner co-hosted by HH Sawai Padmanabh Singh

Jaipur, 3rd March, 2026: The Leela Palace Jaipur hosted an exquisite Phoolon Ki Holi Sundowner on February 25 at its newly launched rooftop destination, The Amber Terrace, co-hosted by HH Sawai Padmanabh Singh. Framed by sweeping panoramic views of the Aravalli Hills, the celebration offered a refined and regal interpretation of the traditional festival of Holi, blending heritage with contemporary sophistication.

As the sun melted into the Aravallis, the rooftop transformed into a stage for a sensorial crescendo. An immersive set by DJ Pranav carried guests from a languid golden-hour gathering into a spirited twilight soirée. Deep house and techno rhythms unfolded with measured intensity, energetic yet impeccably poised, mirroring the evening’s seamless balance of exuberance and refinement.

Rooted in purpose as much as pageantry, the pre-Holi celebration extended The Leela’s flower upcycling initiative, Leela Ke Phool, where blossoms once offered in décor are reborn as artisanal incense and skin-gentle, natural gulal. In doing so, the sundowner elevated festivity into conscious luxury honouring tradition while embracing thoughtful innovation.

A highlight of the evening was a theatrical live Teppanyaki showcase, where master chefs curated a refined culinary journey featuring Thai Mustard Asparagus, Chiang Mai Pok Choy (Fish and Lamb), Peppermint Chicken, and bespoke Lamb Bulgogi Tacos. The epicurean narrative was complemented by a quartet of artfully composed cocktails: Desert Amber, O-pm, Daulat’s Legacy, and Pink City Hues, each echoing the soft, luminous palette of spring in Rajasthan. The experience was further elevated through the association of Diageo’s luxury portfolio with Tanqueray, Don Julio and Johnnie Walker as official pouring partner, uniting craftsmanship and celebration in seamless harmony.

The Amber Terrace itself was envisioned as a pastel-hued floral dreamscape by Shaadiwala—an ethereal interplay of delicate installations and nuanced detailing. The design language gracefully bridged Rajasthan’s palatial grandeur with a contemporary global aesthetic, creating an atmosphere that felt at once timeless and unmistakably current.

“As The Leela marks 40 years of True Indian Luxury, The Amber Terrace stands as a natural continuation of that enduring legacy. For four decades, The Leela has honoured India’s cultural richness while evolving with quiet confidence. This space embodies that spirit, deeply rooted in Rajasthan’s regal narrative, yet alive with modern vibrancy. Celebrating Phoolon Ki Holi here allows us to present tradition in a manner that is elegant, intuitive and globally resonant, a reflection of how heritage can be preserved while beautifully reimagined for today.”

Anoop Pandey, Vice President and General Manager, The Leela Palace Jaipur,

Holi has always been a special festival in Jaipur, bringing with it a sense of joy, togetherness, and renewal. Some of my fondest memories are of celebrating it with family and our community here in Jaipur in a way that feels both graceful and timeless. Phoolon Ki Holi was conceived with this spirit in mind-honouring tradition while presenting it within an intimate and elegant setting. Collaborating with The Leela Palace Jaipur reflects a shared vision of creating experiences that are culturally meaningful and thoughtfully curated. The newly launched Amber Terrace, with its remarkable setting overlooking the Aravallis, is the ideal venue to celebrate Phoolon Ki Holi, as it is a space that feels both rooted in heritage and relevant to the global traveller.”

Co-host HH Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur

With its luminous setting, curated gastronomy and mindful craftsmanship, the Phoolon Ki Holi Sundowner at The Leela Palace Jaipur emerged not merely as a celebration, but as a statement, an ode to India’s living legacy, interpreted through the refined vocabulary of modern luxury.
