Mumbai, 16th September 2024: As the moon rises higher in the sky, bringing with it the promise of a bountiful harvest and family togetherness, Yi Jing, the renowned Chinese restaurant at ITC Maratha, is set to dazzle patrons with an extraordinary "Chinese Moon Festival" experience. From September 14th onwards, the restaurant will offer a captivating culinary experience inspired by the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a vibrant celebration that honours the Chinese moon goddess, Chang’e, and brings families together. The air is filled with the rhythmic beats of lion and dragon dances, as performers twist and turn in a mesmerising display of skill and grace. Traditional Chinese decor, red lanterns and paper cutouts adorn homes and public spaces, creating a festive atmosphere. And of course, no Mid-Autumn Festival would be complete without the delectable mooncakes, filled with sweet ingredients that symbolise unity and harmony.
