Wonderla Resort Presents “The Onam Afterparty” with Anto Philip

• A one-of-a-kind celebration blending Kerala’s traditions with Bangalore’s contemporary cultural energy

Bangalore, 12th September, 2025: Wonderla Holidays Ltd. is set to host “The Onam Afterparty” on September 20th at Wonderla Resort, a curated one-of-a-kind cultural celebration where Kerala traditions meet Bangalore’s buzzing vibe. Designed as a cultural crossover, the half-day celebration combines the nostalgia of Kerala traditions with the vibrant energy of Bangalore, from Chenda Melam and tug-of-war to a hearty Sadhya and live Malayalam jam sessions.

The event will be co-hosted by Anto Philip, Bangalore-based influencer and founder of the Under25 Summit, known for creating youth-driven cultural experiences.

The celebrations start at 11:30 AM with the rhythms of Chenda Melam, followed by traditional Onam games like Vadam Valli (Tug of War) and Uriyadi (Pot Breaking). Guests can then indulge in an authentic Onam Sadhya, before the day transitions into a high-energy, interactive music jam led by “Make Some Occha”, a Malayali music collective celebrated for their infectious community-driven performances. The group will bring their core artists along with additional musicians to lead interactive jamming sessions.
