This November, Yi Jing at ITC Maratha unveils Asian Delight, a thoughtfully curated month-long à la carte experiential menu that explores the layered flavours, textures and culinary traditions of the Asian Orient. Conceptualised by Chef Liang, Yi Jing’s Executive Chinese Chef and one of China’s most respected culinary masters, the menu brings together a cross-cultural expression of Asian gastronomy while staying true to the authenticity of its roots.
With an illustrious career spanning over four decades, Chef Liang has represented Chinese cuisine on global platforms across Australia, the United States, Thailand and several other countries. His philosophy at Yi Jing is rooted in balance, creating dishes that pay homage to the classics while embracing modern technique and presentation. The Asian Delight à la carte menu reflects this sensibility and allows diners to experience the nuances of pan Asian cooking in its most refined form.
Available from November 1 to 30, the menu journeys through signature dishes such as Thai Papaya Salad, Lemongrass Chicken and Prawns with Wasabi Sauce, along with comforting favourites like Tom Yum Kung Soup and Thai Vegetable Green Curry. Hearty mains such as Grilled Pork Belly with Korean Chilli Paste, Pomfret in Thai Yellow Curry and Singapore Chilli Prawns take centre stage, while Korean Clay Pot Rice with Minced Pork and Vegetable Pad Thai showcase the heart of Asian comfort cuisine. To conclude, desserts such as Sago with Coconut Milk and Fresh Fruits, and Red Bean with Water Chestnut and Ice Cream offer a delicate, refreshing finish. Prices start at ₹695 onwards, exclusive of taxes.
