 February 2026, India – Luxmi Tea Group, custodians of Makaibari Tea Estate, one of India’s most storied and pioneering tea estates, will present its zero-alcohol collection, Zero Proof by Makaibari, at the upcoming India Bartender Show on 25th and 26th February at Le Méridien Gurgaon.

 

At the forefront of evolving drinking culture, Zero Proof by Makaibari reimagines tea as a sophisticated base for alcohol-free beverages. Rooted in the estate’s legacy of organic and biodynamic cultivation, the collection is crafted to offer structure, complexity, and character, qualities bartenders typically seek in traditional spirits.

 

To bring this vision to life, celebrated mixologists Yangdup Lama and Niladri Sarkar will curate an exclusive menu of inventive cocktails and mocktails built around the Zero Proof range. Their creations will demonstrate how tea, when handled with precision and imagination, can anchor contemporary bar programs with the same depth as classic ingredients.

 

Adding to the experience, Gagan Gurung will host a special session exploring the craft of blending tea with mixology. The session will examine flavour layering, extraction techniques, and the balance required to translate fine tea into compelling bar expressions.
