Courtyard by Marriott Tiruchirappalli Launches Green Initiative to Plant 432 Saplings in 2025

In celebration of World Environment Day, Courtyard by Marriott Tiruchirappalli proudly launched green initiative aimed at planting 432 saplings across the city. The campaign was officially inaugurated by Mr. Venugopal, General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Tiruchirappalli, alongside hotel associates, marking a significant step toward environmental sustainability. The initiative began on June 5th and has already seen the successful planting of 247 saplings. This effort is being carried out in collaboration with the State Institute of Hotel Management Tiruchirappalli, Corporation Higher Secondary School, and Sowdambika World School, Trichy. These partnerships reflect a shared commitment to fostering environmental awareness and community engagement.

“We believe that sustainability is not just a responsibility but a way of life,” said Mr. Venugopal. “Through this initiative, we aim to contribute meaningfully to the green cover of Tiruchirappalli and inspire others to join us in protecting our planet. “The hotel will continue planting  throughout the year, with the goal of reaching 432 saplings by August 2025. This initiative is part of Marriott India’s broader commitment to environmental stewardship and community involvement.
