- Thompson Shanghai Expo (opened October 30, 2025)
Thompson’s first hotel in Asia Pacific opens in Shanghai’s vibrant Expo district, where its steel-framed “pavilion within a pavilion” design pays homage to the 2010 World Expo. The hotel offers 254 stylish rooms and suites, striking event spaces, and three vibrant dining and nightlife venues, including a rooftop club with panoramic views of the Huangpu River.
