Pune, 18th August 2025:Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi commemorated India’s 79th Independence Day with a one-of-a-kind celebration, ‘Ride for Pride’, in collaboration with the Two Rivers Harley Owners Group (HOG) Chapter. The initiative was spearheaded by Mr. Kiran P. Shevkari (Director) and Mr. Mayur Desai (Chapter Manager), who crafted an experience that fused the adrenaline of biking with the patriotic fervor of the day.

The event brought together 120+ Harley-Davidson enthusiasts riding 75 premium motorcycles, who embarked on a 35 km ride across the city. The convoy thundered through Pune’s streets at dawn, their engines echoing like a rumbling force of unity and pride, leaving citizens in awe as the parade of bikes painted a powerful picture of freedom on wheels.

The ride began at the Two Rivers Harley-Davidson Centre - Magarpatta, where participants assembled for a pre-ride briefing. With the rising sun, the convoy set off, its reverberating sound becoming a moving tribute to India’s spirit of freedom. The ride culminated at Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi, where the bikers were warmly welcomed with refreshments.

The celebrations began with a flag hoisting ceremony led by Mr. Amit Raman, General Manager, Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi, along with Mr. Sunil Kurhade, ACP Wakad. The Tiranga soared high, flanked by Harley-Davidson machines standing tall—a powerful symbol of strength and patriotism. This was followed by the National Anthem and a parade by the hotel’s security team.

Guests were then treated to a series of patriotic cultural performances, inspiring addresses by the GM and HOG leaders, felicitations, and a ceremonial cake cutting. A specially curated ‘Tiranga Breakfast Buffet’, themed around the national flag’s colors, added to the day’s spirit. The event also featured a Safe Riding video and awareness session by seasoned Harley riders, reinforcing the message that true freedom lies in responsibility—on and off the road.
