Mumbai, July 11, 2025: The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI conducted FSSAI’s latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC), on 10th & 11th July, 2025 at the Hotel Le Grande, Mumbai International Airport. The training programmes were attended by 67 hospitality professionals, equipping them with critical insights into food safety protocols, sanitation practices and sustainable waste management strategies to elevate operational standards across the sector.
The sessions were conducted by Dr Pasupathy V., Trainer, Parikshan; Ms Manasi Parab - Admin Assistant - Training & Seminar, HRAWI; Ms Anagh Nawathe - Acube service; Ms Neha Ajit Salian - Hotel Orritel West and Ms Ayushi Garodia - The Shalimar Hotel.
HRAWI has now certified 3,571 professionals through its FoSTaC initiatives, reaffirming its dedication to promoting a robust culture of food safety. These programmes aim to empower hospitality stakeholders with actionable knowledge and skills to maintain compliance with national safety regulations and global best practices.

The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI is a 74 years old Association of Hotels and Restaurants in Western India. Its members include Restaurants and Hotels up to 5-Star Deluxe categories. With membership base spread across Western India, HRAWI covers Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and is considered to be the voice of the Hospitality Industry. The association is part of the national body of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), located in New Delhi, which was originally founded in Mumbai in 1950 by the late Mr J.R.D. Tata.
