Mumbai, Feb 06: The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI conducted FSSAI’s latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC), on the 4th February, 2026 at the Hotel Solaris in Indore. The programme was attended by 21 hospitality professionals and it covered essential topics including food handling, hygiene, sanitation and waste management. The training programme was conducted Dr V. Pasupathy. Participants gained practical insights to strengthen food safety measures within their establishments, reinforcing industry best practices.

HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 3,716 hospitality professionals through its FoSTaC and FSSAI's Management Training Programme. The Association is dedicated to promoting a strong culture of food safety and empowering industry professionals with the knowledge and skills required to maintain the highest standards in their daily operations.

The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI is a 75 years old Association of Hotels and Restaurants in Western India. Its members include Restaurants and Hotels up to 5-Star Deluxe categories. With membership base spread across Western India, HRAWI covers Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and is considered to be the voice of the Hospitality Industry. The association is part of the national body of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), located in New Delhi, which was originally founded in Mumbai in 1950 by the late Mr J.R.D. Tata.
