HRAWI Organizes FSSAI’s Latest FoSTaC Programme In Pune

Mumbai, Feb 17: The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI conducted FSSAI’s latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC), on the 13th February, 2026 at the Amanora The Fern Pune, Series by Marriott. The training program was conducted by Dr V. Pasupathy and attended by 31 hospitality professionals. The session covered essential topics including food handling, hygiene, sanitation and waste management and offered practical insights to strengthen food safety measures for hospitality professionals, reinforcing industry best practices.

HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 3,747 hospitality professionals through its FoSTaC and FSSAI's Management Training Program. The programme is designed to promote a culture of food safety while equipping industry professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold the highest standards in daily operations.

Its members include Restaurants and Hotels up to 5-Star Deluxe categories. With membership base spread across Western India, HRAWI covers Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and is considered to be the voice of the Hospitality Industry.
