EVENT TO SPOTLIGHT LEADERSHIP, POLICY INSIGHTS & INNOVATION IN HOSPITALITY

Mumbai, June 24: The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI is set to host the fifth edition of its flagship Empowering Hospitality Conclave and Awards on 26th June 2025 at Della Resorts and Adventure, Lonavala. The event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers and professionals for an engaging day of knowledge-sharing, networking and recognition. Gracing the event will be Mr Mohamed Farouk, Regional Director (Western Region), India Tourism Mumbai, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. The conclave will culminate in an awards ceremony celebrating excellence in hospitality leadership, customer service sustainability and operational innovation.

“As we enter HRAWI’s milestone 75th year, this edition of the Empowering Hospitality Conclave will serve as a vital platform for professionals to exchange ideas and address the opportunities and disruptions shaping our sector. It also sets the tone for our much-anticipated 20th HRAWI Regional Convention, scheduled for 8th and 9th October 2025 in Mumbai. We encourage hoteliers and restaurateurs across Western India to participate, learn from domain experts and celebrate the outstanding work being done by peers in the industry,” says Mr Jimmy Shaw, President, HRAWI.

The conclave will feature four high-impact knowledge sessions including ‘Insight & Latest Updates on Tourism Policy-24’ by CA Julfesh Shah Chairman, COSIA, Vidarbha Former Vice-Chairman, WIRC of ICAI, Former Chairman, ICAI-NAGPUR; ‘Sustainability through the Use of Bio-degraders in the Hospitality Industry’ by Dr S. Anand, Consultant Biotec, Penetron Products Private Limited; ‘Food safety 360 degrees and how to stay FSSAI compliant by Dr V. Pasupathy, Food Safety Expert & Founder Parikshan FSS Pvt Ltd. and ‘Pest Management requirements of Hospitality Industry’ by Mr Jitendra Gawade, Key Account Manager, Envu.

Its members include Restaurants and Hotels up to 5-Star Deluxe categories. With membership base spread across Western India, HRAWI covers Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and is considered to be the voice of the Hospitality Industry.
