Mumbai, Feb 16: The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI is set to converge for a high-impact knowledge and recognition platform with the 6th edition of HRAWI Conclave & Awards for Empowering Hospitality on 26th February at the Ramsukh Resorts & Spa in Mahabaleshwar. The conclave brings together hotel owners, restaurateurs, operators, suppliers and experts to discuss the most relevant issues shaping the sector and to celebrate excellence through the HRAWI Awards. This edition is designed to be sharply focused on capability-building, compliance readiness and future-facing innovation for hospitality businesses emphasizing strong focus on governance, technology adoption and operational excellence.
The conclave will commence with an opening remark by Mr Pralhad Rathi, President, Mahabaleshwar Hotel Restaurant Association, followed by a welcome address by Mr Jimmy Shaw, President, HRAWI. A special address will be delivered by Mr Javed Sunesara, President, Panchgani Hotels and Welfare Association (PHWA). The Chief Guest for the occasion is Mr Jayasinh Mariwala, Chairman, Autohangar India Pvt Ltd. The event is supported by leading industry partners including Ernst & Young, Ingram Micro and Ramsukh Resorts & Spa.

Eminent speakers lined up for the sessions include Mr Abhijit Parab, Partner – Cybersecurity, Ernst & Young; Mr Rajesh Chopra, Head - Hospitality Business Vertical, Ingram Micro India and Dr. V Pasupathy, Director, Parikshan along with Mr Jitendra Gawade, Key Accountant, ENVU.
The conclave will comprehensively cover topics including the DPDP Act & Information Security with a practical session on data protection, compliance and safeguarding customer information in an increasingly digital ecosystem; Artificial Intelligence for Hospitality on how AI can drive efficiency, personalization and smarter decision-making across operations, marketing and guest experience and; Food Safety and Pest Control best practices, standards and systems to ensure hygiene, safety and regulatory compliance in food service operations.

The Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI is a 75 years old Association of Hotels and Restaurants in Western India. Its members include Restaurants and Hotels up to 5-Star Deluxe categories. With membership base spread across Western India, HRAWI covers Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and is considered to be the voice of the Hospitality Industry. The association is part of the national body of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), located in New Delhi, which was originally founded in Mumbai in 1950 by the late Mr J.R.D. Tata.
