MUMBAI, OCTOBER 15, 2024: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, announced a strategic partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IITJMU) to upskill and empower youth in the field of HVAC technology. The comprehensive training program is aimed at equipping youth in the community with the skills necessary to excel in the hospitality industry.

This initiative, conducted at IIT Jammu’s Cooling Innovation Labs training facility, will focus on providing hands-on training in modern HVAC infrastructure operation and maintenance. IHCL will support 100 students for the program, ensuring they have access to this valuable opportunity.
The training program expected to commence in November 2024, will run for a duration of 6 months and cover a wide range of topics preparing the participants to contribute to the growth of the hospitality sector.
IHCL partners and operates 35 skill centres across 15 states in India and is committed to train 1,00,000 youth by 2030.
