Kochi, January 15, 2026: KYRA, a premium high-energy dining destination inspired by Greek and Persian culinary traditions, officially launched today at Holiday Inn Cochin, marking a significant milestone in Kochi’s evolving lifestyle and nightlife landscape.

Conceptualised as more than a restaurant, KYRA blends bold fire-led cuisine, artistic cocktails, immersive design, and vibrant social energy to create a fully realised experiential dining and nightlife destination. Rooted in ancient culinary cultures and reimagined through contemporary luxury, the concept celebrates shared plates, communal rituals, and sensory storytelling.

Spanning over 8,000+ sq. ft., KYRA is the largest international speciality restaurant in Kerala and the largest within IHG across South West Asia. The expansive space features an open-air patio with garden seating, an exclusive private dining area, and thoughtfully curated zones designed to transition seamlessly from daytime dining to high-energy evenings.

The restaurant was inaugurated in the presence of actor Arya, actress Aditi Ravi, and Nayanthara Chakravarthy, along with Mr. Gokulam Gopalan, Founder and Chairman of the Sree Gokulam Group of Companies; Mr. Baiju Gopalan, Managing Director; and Mr. Praveen, Vice Chairman, alongside other celebrity guests and eminent personalities.

The culinary experience is led by Chef Subimon, Chef de Cuisine, a specialist in Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine with over a decade of experience. His mastery of spice, flame, and balance shapes a menu rooted in fire-led cooking, olive smoke, saffron warmth, layered spices, and herbaceous depth— designed for immersive dining formats and elevated evening experiences.

KYRA’s interiors reflect modern eclectic opulence, combining rich textures, sculptural forms, dynamic lighting, and curated natural accents to create a multisensory social environment. A signature projection- mapped wall transforms the ambience in real time, elevating the dining experience into a visual performance.

“KYRA draws inspiration from Kochi’s historic role as a crossroads of cultures and ancient spice routes, where Persian and Mediterranean influences once converged. The concept aligns with the city’s globally exposed, culturally layered identity and its readiness for elevated experiential dining.”

Fino Babu, General Manager – Holiday Inn Cochin,

With its scale, distinctive culinary identity, immersive design language, and emotion-led philosophy, KYRA is set to emerge as a landmark destination for experiential dining and nightlife in Kochi.
