A Journey of Dedication and Hard Work

In 1992, Tukaram began his career at The Plaza Hotel Limited. After five years of service, he relocated to Goregaon during the hotel's renovation period. A few years later, he was offered an opportunity at The Orchid Hotel, Mumbai, where he joined the Accounts Department, marking a new chapter in his professional journey.
During his tenure at The Orchid Hotel, Tukaram displayed exceptional dedication and integrity. Recognizing his loyalty, senior officials entrusted him with the responsibility of an Office Outdoor Boy, handling financial collections across Mumbai with utmost honesty. His reliability earned him the special trust of Dr. Vithal Kamat.

Fort JadhavGADH and the ‘Aai’ Museum

In 2004, Dr. Vithal Kamat transformed the historic JadhavGADH fort into a magnificent heritage hotel, ensuring that every aspect of its history was preserved. As part of this visionary project, he decided to transfer Tukaram to Saswad. Embracing this transition with enthusiasm, Tukaram played a crucial role in the restoration process and in collecting historical artifacts for the hotel. His dedication further extended to the establishment of the ‘Aai’ Museum in 2007, where he served with utmost sincerity and devotion.

A Special Bond with Dr. Kamat

In recognition of Tukaram’s unwavering commitment, Dr. Kamat personally requested him to extend his service beyond retirement. In 2019, as Tukaram neared retirement, Dr. Kamat called him directly and said, "You cannot retire without my permission!" Out of respect for this special bond, Tukaram continued his service until 2021. Both Dr. Vithal Kamat and Vishal Kamat deeply appreciated and honored his dedication.
