Hyderabad, Telangana (October 10th, 2024) Park Hyatt Hyderabad proudly hosted an extraordinary two-day pop-up event on the 5th and 6th of October, featuring Chef Prateek Sadhu, the visionary behind NAAR, his intimate 16-seater restaurant that has redefined Himalayan cuisine. Presented in collaboration with Conosh, the event brought the essence of the mountains to Hyderabad, offering a rare culinary experience showcasing the Himalayas' unique flavors and forgotten traditions.

Hailing from Baramulla, Kashmir, Chef Prateek Sadhu has earned acclaim for his "wilderness-to-table" philosophy, using local ingredients and traditional techniques to tell the story of the Himalayan region through his food. His culinary journey, which includes training at some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens, has led him to create dishes that pay homage to the Himalayas' rugged landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

The exclusive nine-course menu crafted by Chef Sadhu was a true celebration of Himalayan cuisine, and each dish was designed to transport diners to the mountain region. Guests indulged in carefully curated dishes like Askalu, Makki Tujj, Sunderkala, which embed authentic flavours, seasonal produce, and the chef’s deep connection to his roots.

The event was a resounding success, made possible through the support of Conosh, Restaurant NAAR, The Ardmore, Vedica Spring, and AUDI Hyderabad. Park Hyatt Hyderabad was honored to bring this unique experience to the city and share the rich culinary heritage of the Himalayas with the guests.
