Radisson Hotel Group continues to further strengthen its presence in India with an exciting pipeline of hotel openings, underscoring its commitment to bringing world-class hospitality to diverse destinations and traveler segments. The Group’s recent openings include Radisson Hotel Prayagraj and upcoming opening lineup lists Radisson Hotel Delhi MG Road, Radisson Resort Mount Abu, Radisson RED Indore, Radisson Hotel Phagwara, and Radisson Resort & Spa Sasan Gir. These additions will expand the Group’s reach across business districts, cultural hubs, and nature-driven destinations, blending global standards with local flavors.
This strong pipeline builds on the momentum of the year’s recent successes, with 10 hotels opening between January and August 2025. Flagship launches at destinations like Gaj, Koti, Prayagraj and Jawai set the tone in the first quarter, followed by openings in Vellore, Bengaluru, Jamshedpur, Khopoli and Kevadia. Together, these openings demonstrate the Group’s agile growth strategy, whether tapping into Tier 2 business and industrial hubs like Jamshedpur and Vellore, strengthening spiritual tourism circuits with openings in Prayagraj, or positioning itself in high-demand leisure and holiday destinations like Jawai and Khopoli.
Commenting on the momentum, Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said, “India is one of our most dynamic growth engines globally, and the strong start to 2025 reflects both the country’s rising travel aspirations and the government’s push to position tourism as a pillar of economic growth. With openings across industrial hubs, spiritual centers, and leisure destinations, we are supporting the vision of balanced regional development and deeper domestic connectivity. As we accelerate our pipeline of landmark hotels, our focus remains on building long-term partnerships and delivering world-class hospitality experiences that contribute meaningfully to India’s journey towards Vision 2047.”
With these openings and upcoming projects, Radisson Hotel Group is creating a truly pan-India footprint. The portfolio now spans North India (Prayagraj), South India (Vellore, Bengaluru), East India (Jamshedpur), and West India (Khopoli, Kevadia, Jawai), while upcoming destinations such as Mount Abu, Indore, Phagwara, and Sasan Gir will further broaden its reach. The Group is well positioned to cater to a wide spectrum of consumers, from millennials drawn to lifestyle-focused hotels like Radisson RED Indore, to families seeking holiday and wedding destinations in Mount Abu and Sasan Gir, and business travelers frequenting corporate hubs such as MG Road and Phagwara.
Aligned with India’s tourism growth story, Radisson Hotel Group has been consistently partnering closely with local owners and integrating regional culture into its hotels, ensuring each property reflects the character of its destination while adhering to global service standards. This approach not only strengthens community engagement but also contributes to the local economy and supports the country’s domestic tourism vision.
