(Bengaluru, 12 September 2025) - Shangri-La Bengaluru proudly marks a decade of warm hospitality and exceptional experiences with a celebration that brings together artistry, flavour, and joy. To honour this milestone, the hotel will host two-time World Acrobatic Pizza Champion Pasqualino Barbasso for an exclusive engagement that promises to delight both the eye and the palate.

Renowned across the world for his spellbinding performances, Chef Barbasso has mesmerised audiences on five continents, transforming the simple act of tossing dough into a breathtaking spectacle. With his Sicilian roots and over two decades of dedication to his craft, he embodies the perfect balance of tradition, passion, and innovation.

Alongside his acrobatic displays, guests can savour a menu co-created with Caprese’s culinary team, featuring artisanal pizzas and refined Italian specialities. Highlights include the Sapori di Bosco, a forest-inspired pizza with wild mushrooms, truffle oil, and artichokes, as well as his celebrated King Sea and Bolero pizzas. Each dish will be paired with fine wines and crafted cocktails for a truly indulgent experience.

The anniversary celebrations will be hosted at Caprese, Shangri-La Bengaluru, from 17–21 September 2025. Guests can look forward not only to live performances but also to interactive sessions such as hands-on pizza-tossing lessons and curated tasting experiences. It will be an occasion to celebrate the spirit of togetherness, artistry, and culinary excellence that define Shangri-La.
