A Three-Day Celebration of Traditional Parsi Recipes, Curated by Chef Daugdo Ragina 

 (New Delhi, October 2025) Shangri-La Eros New Delhi invites culinary aficionados to relish an exquisite celebration of Parsi cuisine at its award-winning world cuisine restaurant, Tamra. From 16th to 18th October 2025, the hotel will host an exclusive pop-up presenting the rich flavours and cultural heritage of Parsi cooking, curated by Chef Daugdo Ragina in collaboration with Chef Pin.  

 The Parsi culinary tradition, steeped in history and culture, is known for its unique blend of spices and techniques, passed down through generations. At the core of this custom is the art of slow-cooked stews, aromatic rice dishes, and the perfect balance of tangy and sweet flavours. This special pop-up promises to serve a truly authentic experience, reviving age-old recipes and introducing them to a new generation of food enthusiasts in the capital.

 Chef Daugdo Ragina, a Mumbai-based home chef, has gained recognition for her remarkable talent in crafting traditional Parsi dishes. Trained by her grandparents, who were prominent banquet caterers for Parsi events, Daugdo’s passion for her culinary roots has brought her into the spotlight. Her previous pop-ups have received rave reviews, making her one of the most sought-after Parsi chefs. This pop-up marks a momentous occasion as she brings her cherished family recipes to the distinguished guests of Tamra.   

 During the three-day event, the menu will showcase an array of Parsi favourites, starting with tempting appetizers like Chicken Farcha, Sweet & Sour Mutton Pattice, and Paneer Farcha. Guests will be treated to a variety of main dishes, such as Soya Chaap Sali, Mutton Pulao with Dal, and the signature Fish Curry. The experience will conclude with the delectable Lagan Nu Custard, a traditional Parsi dessert that is the perfect end to a royal feast.

 The second day of the pop-up will feature a fresh selection of starters, including Chicken Cutlets, Fish Cutlets, and Paneer Cheese Balls. The main course will enrich the experience with dishes like Sali Marghi, Prawns in Potato, Mutton Dhanshak, and the vegetarian Veg Dhanshak. For dessert, guests can relish the flavours of Custard, which will be the sweet finale to this special meal.  

 Tamra, known for its diverse and vibrant culinary offerings, serves as the perfect backdrop for this extraordinary experience. With its “World on Your Plate” concept, the restaurant provides a dynamic space that blends various cuisines from around the globe, making it an ideal space for Chef Daugdo's Parsi pop-up. Each dish served is an ode to the tradition, history, and flavour of Parsi cuisine, for guests to experience the soul of this culinary heritage.

 The pop-up will run from October 16th to 18th, 2025, with lunch and dinner sittings available each day.
