Ltd., has been awarded the First Prize in the Hotels and Resorts category at the prestigious Kerala State Pollution Control Board Award 2025. This recognition celebrates the resort’s unwavering commitment to environmental protection and sustainable practices.

This accolade follows a rigorous evaluation process by district and state-level panels of the Kerala State Pollution Control Board, assessing sustainability initiatives, pollution control systems, and continuous improvement measures. Taj Wayanad Resort & Spa emerged as the top performer, setting a benchmark for responsible hospitality in India.

The resort’s pioneering initiatives include a zero-plastic commitment through an in-house glass water bottling plant, decomposable amenities, and wooden key cards; energy efficiency with solar power systems and electric vehicles; and water conservation under a zero-discharge policy with 100% reuse of treated water.
