The Leela Gandhinagar Hosts “Drive & Dine: Women of Power” to Celebrate International Women’s Day

The Leela Gandhinagar, India’s luxury hospitality landscape, marked International Women’s Day with an exhilarating event that combined elegance, empowerment, and celebration. The event was organized in collaboration with BMW Gallops Autohaus and Mini Gallops Autohaus, bringing together more than 30 dynamic women drivers for a unique experience that blended luxury, adventure, and fine dining. 

The event commenced with an exciting convoy of BMW and Mini Cooper cars, driven by accomplished women, making a grand entrance at The Leela Gandhinagar. The sight of these powerful machines gliding into the luxurious hotel set the tone for an afternoon filled with indulgence and inspiration. The guests were received with a regal traditional welcome, a signature of The Leela’s renowned hospitality, where cultural richness met modern luxury. 

Once inside, the guests were treated to an immersive and engaging lineup of experiences curated to delight their senses. A highlight of the event was an exclusive Bakery Masterclass conducted by The Leela’s celebrated Head of Bakery, Chef Farhaan. Participants had the opportunity to explore the artistry of fine baking, learning expert tips and techniques while creating exquisite treats. 

The celebrations continued with live entertainment, adding a vibrant energy to the afternoon, while a pottery-making demonstration allowed guests to engage in a hands-on artistic experience. The blend of creativity, learning, and entertainment created an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie, making the event not just a celebration but an inspiring experience for the attendees. 

The culinary highlight of the event was an indulgent and meticulously crafted brunch at Citrus Junction, The Leela Gandhinagar’s signature all-day dining restaurant. The lavish spread featured an array of gourmet delights, showcasing The Leela’s commitment to culinary excellence. From handcrafted delicacies to live food stations, the brunch was a testament to the hotel’s reputation for delivering unparalleled gastronomic experiences.
