Bengaluru, 1st December. Treebo Hospitality Ventures (THV) has announced the signing of a new Mercure hotel in Haridwar’s prominent SIDCUL industrial area, under its master franchise arrangement with Accor and InterGlobe. This strategic opening will bring Accor’s globally renowned midscale Mercure brand to one of North India’s most dynamic business and spiritual destinations, serving the fast-growing demand for branded, quality hospitality in the region.

Haridwar stands as one of India’s most revered spiritual cities and, thanks to the SIDCUL industrial estate, is an accelerating hub for commerce. The area draws a wide spectrum of visitors, from business professionals working in pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and engineering, to tourists embarking on spiritual journeys in the region.

The new Mercure hotel will provide both groups access to trusted, professionally managed accommodation synonymous with international standards.

The Mercure in Haridwar will feature 72 well-appointed rooms, modern amenities, a multi-cuisine restaurant, and event spaces perfectly suited for requirements of social and business MICE alike. With SIDCUL’s prominence as an industrial center, the hotel is poised to cater to executives, project teams, and those seeking reliable comfort during their travels. Mercure’s local, authentic approach ensures travelers experience the spirit and warmth of Haridwar alongside superior service.

India’s mid-market hospitality segment continues to surge, propelled by national economic growth and rising travel aspirations. The new Mercure caters to this trend, combining affordability, efficiency, and locally inspired design in a market where business and religious travel equally thrive.

THV’s master franchise arrangement with Accor and InterGlobe is poised to accelerate the rollout of world-class mid-scale hotels across high-potential Indian cities. This latest Mercure signing exemplifies their shared commitment to delivering operational excellence and locally resonant guest experiences.

"Haridwar represents a unique confluence of spirituality and industry. With SIDCUL’s rapid growth, the demand for reliable mid-market hotels has never been higher. Through our partnership with Accor and the Mercure brand, guests will enjoy a warm hospitality harmonized with Treebo’s hallmark efficiency."
