Wellness Experts from the city shed light on what 'Wellness' means in today's day and age
Pune, June 3, 2019: The month of June is observed and celebrated as the 'Global wellness month' and to spread awareness about the importance of wellness, Hyatt Pune Kalyani Nagar, has planned series of activities spread over June 1 – 8, 2019. They commenced the celebrations with a panel discussion on "Wellness and You" with experts from their respective fields.
Today, wellness means much more than just the physique and your fitness. It has evolved to being mentally and spiritually fit, too. This means not only exercising the body, but the mind and soul too. In order to kick off the celebrations, three wellness experts graced the occasion to share their views on what wellness means to each one of them.
Dr. Nidhi Agarwal, a Homeopathic physician, Wellness Coach, Counselor and the Director of Prakash Holistic Care Centre, through her views shed light on her approach to medicine free lifestyle which she has been practicing for the past 12 years.
Dr. Nikita Mittal, a Physiotherapist by profession, realized at the peak of her career that she wanted to do more for her patients than just prescribe exercises. To her Dance is the biggest form of wellness. She practices dance therapies and through this she aims at healing and transforming people from all walks of life
Dimple Somji, a Yoga instructor, was also present for the discussion. She shared her views on how Yoga has just gained the attention it deserves in the recent years. For her wellness means the peace of mind, and balance she gets from Yoga.
Manisha Nihalini- a practicing graphologist, numerologist and a tarot card reader and a hypnotherapist. In order to understand human psychology and help people understand themselves better. Manisha mastered these skills to heal and channelize energy cores that leads to physical and mental wellness.
Vidhya Tiwari- an ex editor, a fashion consultant was a moderator for evening who practices various elements in her day to day life that defines wellness and well-being.
All of these experts have gone on to explain what wellness means to them and others in this new era, and the importance of wellness in this day and age.
