Avijit Deb Sharma appointed as the new Executive Chef at ibis and Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road
Bengaluru, 28 January 2019: ibis and Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road announced the appointment of Chef Avijit Deb Sharma as their new Executive Chef. Chef Avijit brings over 17 years of experience and expertise in the hospitality and service industry. A graduate from the Institute of Hotel Management Bangalore, Chef Avijit has worked in some of the most prestigious kitchens in India.
Chef Avijit enjoys experimenting with various cuisines, bringing quality and consistency to the table, along with aesthetic presentations, incorporating both modern and traditional trends in European and Pan-Asian cuisines. His leadership at the helm is sure to cement the hotel’s place as a leader at the cutting edge of culinary trends in the city.

Chef Avijit Sharma started his career with the Amar Vilas in Agra, moving on to the Leela Group of Hotels among others, and is looking forward to his new assignment at the ibis & Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road.
Chef Avijit has been constantly honing his skills throughout his career, which has been instrumental in enhancing his culinary repertoire. His attention to detail as well as desire to serve the best to his guests has brought him many accolades, including the 2003 award for outstanding service to guests by the CondeNast Traveler.
