MUMBAI, DECEMBER 12, 2023, 2023: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of its first hotel in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. The Greenfield hotel will be branded Vivanta.

The 150 keys hotel is strategically situated at a driving distance from the Donyi Polo Airport. The hotel will have the signature multi-cuisine restaurant and bar, along with recreational facilities including swimming pool, health club and a fitness centre. It will also offer over 6500 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art banqueting space including meeting rooms.

With the snowcapped Himalayas towering on the north and the mighty Brahmaputra in the south, Itanagar, the capital city of Arunanchal Pradesh is a natures paradise. The city is a key transit point for travelers exploring Tawang, Ziro Valley, Pasighat and Mechukha.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have nine hotels in North -East India including five under development.
