IHCL Sets Foot in Chhattisgarh With the Signing of Taj Raipur

MUMBAI, MARCH 31, 2023: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced its debut in the state of Chhattisgarh with a Taj branded hotel. The hotel is a brownfield project.

Raipur is a major commercial hub for the state as well as Central India. We are delighted to partner with Krish (Raipur) Hotels Pvt Ltd, a part of Vyapak Group and bring the Taj brand to the city.”

The 152-room luxury hotel is strategically located at a short driving distance from Raipur Airport on the Atal Path Expressway which connects the city to the new Capital “Naya Raipur”. It will feature an all-day diner, a speciality restaurant, a bar and lobby lounge. The hotel will have over 1,300 sq. m of banqueting space with a large conference hall, two spacious meeting rooms, breakout rooms and a business centre. It will also offer an auditorium – a first in the city. The hotel will introduce IHCL’s signature Jiva spa brand to the city with other recreational facilities including a swimming pool, gym and a salon.
