The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as ‘Duanwu’ Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday. The festival has a history of over 2,000 years and is celebrated in various parts of East Asia. The Dragon Boat Festival is widely celebrated in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other regions with Chinese communities. The festival serves as a way to honor Chinese culture, strengthen community bonds, and bring people together in joyful celebrations.
The menus include traditional dishes that are enjoyed during the Dragon Boat Festival especially the famous zongzi - sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves and filled with a variety of ingredients boiled or steamed to perfection. Zongzi are savory and have a rich, aromatic flavor, making them a beloved treat during the festival. Guests can also enjoy Chef Yan’s specialties like Yellow chili Shimeji and asparagus, dried chili pickled ash bean, Sweet and sour fish with Sichuan pepper oil, Beijing style chili coriander noodles and more.
