Executive Chef Ishika Konar curated menu to not only complement the wines, but also to push the boundaries of conventional pairings and promises to take you on a culinary journey to please all the senses.
A wonderfully magic addition to the evening, is that the guests will be personally guided through how each course, and it’s pairing, was created by Chef. The journey of each dish and its paired wine will be described and every sense will be enticed as one encounters these incredible pairings.
The orange Blushed Poached prawn with sweet potato crisp and watermelon carpoccia with smoked yogurt and baby seedling to begin with and chocolate milli-feuille with hazel nut praline choux raspberry caviar and salted caramel whipped ganache or special tiramisu to end on a sweet note very much encapsulates the menu.
Each wine have a distinct personality and reflect the ‘terroir’ and climate from which it originates, allowing consumers to enjoy wines that are truly unique. Known for her refined skills in elevating Italian cuisine with modern techniques, Executive Chef Ishika ‘s menu will perfectly complement different wines.
The four different wines will be – Folonari Chardonnay from north Italy, The Antinori Peppoli Chianti from Chianti Classico territory and its historic grape variety with typical floral and fruity aromas, Villa Antinori is a full-blooded Tuscan red from the Tuscan estates and then fermented and aged in the Antinori family estates. Cavicchioli Rose from Emilia-Romagna, Italy and made from Lambrusco will complement the desserts.
