ITC Grand Central Celebrates the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

MUMBAI (December 8, 2022) –ITC Grand Central kick started the season of festivities with the traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony at the lobby on December 8, 2022. The ceremony was well attended by the staff, guests and socialites of the town. Festivities for the evening were initiated with the lighting of the Christmas Tree followed by a melodic recitation of choirs.

Chef Paul Noronha, Executive Chef, ITC Grand Central Mumbai presented a delectable spread of festive delights, exclusively tailor-made for the event. The sumptuous menu for the evening included the choicest selections of delicacies from around the world and an array of mouth-watering goodies. The magnum opus of the evening was the 12-foot-tall Christmas tree that lit up the lobby with sparkling lights, and the beautiful glass painting on every glass window of the hotel in the Frederick’s Lounge & the Celebration Zone highlighting various iconic Christmas characters like Christmas Elves, Frosty the Snowman, Christmas elves, frosty the snowman, scrooge, Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, Christmas angel.

The Christmas tree this year was made up of glass vases this year keeping the theme of sustainability in mind. The glass vases were filled with dried leaves and red cherries to amplifying up the festive vibes.

Further, General Manager of ITC Grand Central -Bhagwan Balani further shared – This tree lighting ceremony is an initiative that team ITC Grand Central conducts annually. And this year we have lit up this beautiful tree with red lights and is around the message of ‘Responsible Luxury’ and the festive vibes are in air with lovely Christmas carols, that lets us revel into the Christmassy spirit and hope for a brighter and safer year ahead.
