We, at ITC Hotels, put great emphasis on creating an environment that promotes wellness through our in-house facilities. Keeping with the spirit of International Yoga Day and as part of our commitment to fostering responsible luxury and promoting well-being, ITC Hotels will be organising the following activities for our in-house guests and associates.
1. ITC Maratha
ITC Maratha will be organising a morning workshop with certified wellness advocate, Ms. Tei, for a classroom and demonstrative showcase of ‘trans-functional yoga’. This will be followed by a discussion on ‘How to cheat your mind to ditch a sedentary lifestyle’ and a sound healing session. The participants will end the morning with Mighty Millet and Pavilion pure breakfast immersion.
The property is also organising Kaya Kalp Spa Day Break Rollout. Anchored by Mumbai’s foremost celebrity wellness instructor Samiksha Shetty, the event will be an exclusive media and influencer event centred around non-invasive lifestyle advocacy. The event will kick off with a 45-minute workshop with Samiksha Shetty, followed by an enlightening fireside chat featuring a panel with the Spa Manager and a Sales & Marketing Head. The discussion will be on ‘Is Urban Spa Break Need of the Hour’. Lastly, the event will conclude on a delightful note with a specially curated spa cuisine lunch, where participants can indulge in healthy and delectable dishes.
2. ITC Kohenur
An early morning outdoor yoga session for the guests, members and staff followed by a super food specially curated by chef that is sure to replenish the soul. ITC Kohenur will be launching a new unique way of holistic wellbeing through Aqua Yoga. It is an initiation to engage individuals, even the kids at the hotel swimming pool to promote their well-being and enhance the pool experience for our guests.
3. ITC Grand Bharat
ITC Grand Bharat will organise Hatha Yoga at the Ghats of Yamuna. Hatha, a combination of ‘ha’ meaning sun and ‘tha’ implying moon, is done to attain a union of mind, body and spirit through the practice of asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (yoga breathing), mudra (body gestures), bandha (energy locks or seals) and shatkarma (internal cleansing). These body centred practices aim to strengthen and purify the physical body, cultivating prana (life-force energy) and kundalini (dormant spiritual energy) for a full spectrum of mental and physical wellbeing.
4. Mementos Udaipur
Guests at Mementos Udaipur are starting their day with an Immunity Booster. The beverage amenity is being offered in the rooms with the invite for Meditation and Yoga at the Magical Garden. A session for the guests and the team by the lake at sunrise will surely cleanse the body and soul of impurities. The combination of fish feeding and refreshments, along with the Pavilion signature bowl, will create a delightful and immersive experience for both guests and staff, allowing them to engage with nature while indulging in a delectable culinary delight. The Bajra ki Raab: the locally inspired breakfast at Udai Pavilion with pearl millet, butter milk and roasted cumin will be the
cherry on top for the whole wellness experience.
5. ITC Narmada
Adding years to life and life to years through revitalizing sessions for the soul, the hotel will be organising yoga session for its in-house guests with the yoga instructor from Isha Foundation from 6 am to 8 am. The session at Cigar Lounge Terrace will be followed by Juicery and millets refreshments from the Pavilion. A yoga session will also be organised for associates in two shifts. The morning shift of Aqua yoga at the poolside and the evening shift of yoga at the Eastern Lawns from 6 pm to 7 pm will be held. The participants will enjoy delicious and healthy beverages from the Pavilion Juicery, along with nutritious snacks made from millets.
6. ITC Grand Chola
ITC Grand Chola will be organising a morning workshop at the picturesque poolside embracing the theme of Humanity in 2023, proudly embodying the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, extending their warm invitation to in-house guests, gym members, long-stay guests, and associates. After the session, indulge in a mindful and nutritious breakfast spread that will leave you feeling refreshed and energized. ITC Grand Chola has always prioritized wellness, and our commemoration of Yoga Day is yet another testament to our commitment to health and well-being, in the ethos of Responsible Luxury.
7. ITC Grand Central
ITC Grand Central will organise a Yoga class for employees with a renowned Yoga Trainer who will conducted the yoga class for the enthusiastic team members. Besides teaching several yoga asanas, breathing exercises and meditation, he will also explain the advantages of performing yoga on a daily basis and its impact on healthy and holistic well-being of individuals. The practice session also focussed on stress management yoga asanas leading to overall physical and mental wellbeing of team members. ITC Grand Central, has holistically encouraged the importance of practising yoga to in- house guests, clients, friends, family and the who’s who of the town along with rolled out tulsi seed paper invitations- a responsible luxury initiative to influencers followed by healthy millet breakfast. On 18th June, 2023 (Sunday) we conducted an expressive morning yoga workshop with fitness school ‘Air bound’. On 20th June, 2023 (Tuesday) for all workers in the hotel- we have an hour-long yoga session. On 21st June, 2023- All the department heads of ITC Grand Central will practice Yoga in terrace gardens and imbibe this practice and its values through yoga practice in daily life.
