ITDC observes Constitution Day

India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (ITDC), a renowned hospitality major under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, observed Constitution Day.

To mark the celebration, the Preamble was read by Shri G Kamala Vardhana Rao (Chairman & Managing Director), ITDC in the presence of Directors and senior officials of ITDC. It highlighted the contributions made by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution of India and also reiterated the impending need to follow the tenets of the constitution in its true letter and spirit.

26th November is celebrated every year as the ‘Constitution day’ to commemorate the adoption of the constitution of India & to honour the contribution made by the founding fathers of the constitution. On this day in 1949, India adopted the Constitution, which later came into effect from January 26, 1950.
