Izumi Announces the Return of Ramen Night & the Devil Bowl Challenge

Izumi, the award-winning Japanese restaurant in Bandra, announces the return of its annual Ramen Night – the third edition. Set to take place on Thursday, October 5, 2023, the Ramen Night will serve a special, ramen-focused menu and will also include the Devil Bowl Challenge. 

Guests will enjoy a special set menu, for one night only, which will allow them to choose from a selection of Gyoza or Taco; Ramen or Ramen Burger; a dessert, and a cocktail or beer (the Izumi Kolsch). Each set menu will be priced at Rs. 1950 plus taxes per head. 

The menu will feature some Izumi classics like Spicy Miso Vegetarian Ramen served with Charred Vegetables; Izumi Ramen prepared with chicken, pork and seafood broth; and Prawn, Avocado & Water chestnut Gyoza. Other new menu additions will also be included, such as the special Izumi Ramen Burger. While Ramen Night will serve only the set menu, Izumi’s yakitori will also be available on an a la carte basis. 

The restaurant will accept reservations for two seatings on Ramen Night; 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm. During each seating, guests will be welcomed to participate in the Devil Bowl Challenge, during which participants will be served Ramen Bowls prepared in the spiciest broth designed to challenge the taste buds. The guest who finishes their entire Ramen Bowl first will be declared the winner.
