Jazz Nights at Hyatt Regency Chennai

CHENNAI (January 25, 2023) – 365 A.S. situated at Hyatt Regency Chennai is all set to  groove to the tunes of some fine Jazz music on Friday evenings. Evenings will feature Jazz  musicians performing solo, duo or in a band.  

For their January line up, they are featuring the Chennai based jazz band Many Things along with renowned vocalist Sharanya Gopinath, who has already created a buzz as a  playback singer in Films, on 27^th Jan 2023, from 7 pm onwards. The evening will see a mix  of Swing/bebop, Contemporary (originals) and Collaborative sets. 

ManyThings features Maarten Visser, a Dutch born saxophonist/ composer, Aravind Murali a  music producer & bass player and Manukrishnan, drummer, is a cross genre instrumental trio  based in Chennai. They combine a variety of musical styles such as jazz, rock, classical and  funk and delicately tread the fine line between composition and improvisation. The trio is  currently in the process of recording their first full length album. They also play at venues 

around the country with various musicians added to the core trio. They play jazz standards,  pop classics and elevate the intended mood of an audience. 

The event has been featured in the calendar of Jazz Near You, a web based community of  Jazz lovers around the world. 

Post the Jazz evening, the bar will also get to witness DJ Samantha in action till late evening. So, see you at the 365 A.S. for some smooth Jazz moves!
