Jolie’s and World on a Plate (WOAP) Welcome Chef Shannon Bennett to Mumbai

For the first time, Chef Shannon Bennett, widely renowned as one of the most successful and well respected chefs in Australia, will be visiting India for the very first time, for a pop-up at Jolie’s, in association with World on a Plate.

This exclusive, one-night only dining experience will take place on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 7:30 pm onwards.

Chef Shannon opened the three-hatted Vue de Monde, a French bistro in Melbourne, over 15 years ago and since then has launched a string of highly successful ventures; Café Vue, Bistro Vue, The Lui Bar, Jardin Tan, Vue Events, Burnham Bakery & Piggery Café and Benny’s Burgers.

For eight years, Chef Shannon has also been a guest judge and mentor on MasterChef Australia sharing his knowledge and expertise and guiding the talented home cooks throughout the series.  

In the realm of contemporary cuisine, Chef Shannon reigns supreme, blending classical French techniques with a sprinkle of old-school charm and modern European flair. With a keen focus on the Australian palate, Bennett crafts culinary masterpieces that transcend borders, incorporating local ingredients and paying homage to the unique flavors of each city he visits. As he embarks on his inaugural visit to India, Bennett is set to dazzle diners, showcasing his culinary expertise with dishes like the Parmesan twist snack, smoked eggplant terrine, prawn cocktail, Ceps risotto, Lamb Loin and his very famous Snickers Bar. Each dish is a testament to his innovative approach, inviting guests to embark on a gastronomic journey where tradition meets innovation, leaving taste buds tantalized and hearts full of appreciation for the fusion of flavors.
