Lebua Hotels and Resorts hosts 12-hour celebration of partnership with Pernod Ricard

Lebua Hotels, known for repositioning the luxury dining scene in Thailand with the opening of Sirocco in 2003, has recently been at the center of Thailand’s vibrant dining scene with its flagship restaurant, Mezzaluna, being honored with two Michelin stars in December in the inaugural Michelin guide Bangkok. Other recent high points include the launch of the St. Hugo Exclusive Lebua Release, a blend of Shiraz created exclusively for Lebua and Mezzaluna in honor of their two Michelin stars. The March 12th event will also mark the anniversary of Lebua’s successful collaboration with Pernod Ricard which has resulted in the creation of two award-winning bars at The Dome; Flute – A Perrier-Jouët Bar, which brought Lebua exclusive vintages of Perrier-Jouët champagne and will debut an upcoming exclusive Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Cuvee blended exclusively for Lebua, and Alfresco 64 – A Chivas Bar, which was underscored by the creation of Lebua’s own exclusive whisky blend by Chivas Regal. The stunning series of events will close with a preview of the upcoming additions to The Dome at Lebua in 2018 – the upcoming Japanese restaurant and bar, Sukai Omakase and Bar Sukai.

This 12-hour celebration, from noon to midnight, and will traverse The Dome at Lebua beginning with lunch at the two Michelin starred – Mezzaluna and ending at the State Room on the 67th floor, the venue for the upcoming Japanese restaurant and bar.

Mezzaluna00038_previewGuests will be invited to join Lebua and Pernod Ricard for lunch at Mezzaluna, featuring an exclusive 7-course menu prepared by Mezzaluna’s Chef de Cuisine, Ryuki Kawasaki and fellow two Michelin-starred Chef, Koji Shimomura of Edition Koji Shimomura in Tokyo. Both two-starred chefs are Japanese and boast a mastery of French cuisine, and have come together for this one-time partnership to create a truly one-of-a-kind meal. St Hugo, the Exclusive Lebua Release, a blend of Shiraz created exclusively for Lebua and Mezzaluna, will be debuted at the luncheon. The exclusive 2013 vintage Lebua release from St. Hugo will be priced at $700 USD per bottle and will only be available at Mezzaluna. Following a the meal the guests will move to Flute – A Perrier-Jouët Bar, the highest alfresco champagne bar in the world, to enjoy a sunset champagne tasting accompanied by a live jazz band and featuring exclusive vintages from Perrier-Jouët to mark Flute’s two-year anniversary. From Flute, guests will move to Alfresco 64 – A Chivas Bar, the highest alfresco whisky bar, to commemorate Alfresco 64’s first anniversary. The evening will feature premium Chivas Regal whisky and whisky cocktails, a gourmet selection of snacks and music from a live DJ.

The pinnacle of the evening will be the unveiling of the venue for the upcoming Japanese restaurant, Sukai Omakase, the State Room on the 67th floor of Lebua’s State Tower. The State Room will be transformed into a nightclub featuring world-class DJs and a premium spirits selection.
