National, 30 May 2025: On the occasion of International Cabin Crew Day, Akasa Air shines a light on the unwavering dedication of its cabin crew, the professionals who embody the spirit of care, composure, and agility that define the Akasa experience. Since its inception, Akasa Air’s distinct in-flight service has stood out for its warmth, efficiency, and empathy, attributes that come to life each day through its cabin crew.
World-class training from day one
At the core of this professionalism is the Akasa Air Learning Academy (AALA), a cutting-edge facility where over 1,200 cabin crew members have undergone comprehensive training across safety, service, and soft skills. AALA is equipped with India’s only next-generation door to practice normal and emergency scenarios in a realistic environment, enabling our crew to respond with confidence, precision, and care.
Akasa’s training framework fosters holistic growth from safety and service protocols to leadership and communication, ensuring crew members are prepared to navigate every phase of flight with discipline and empathy.
Comfortable by design: Uniforms with purpose
Akasa Air is proud to be the first Indian airline to introduce gender-neutral uniforms, paired with custom-designed sneakers, for both its cabin crew and ground teams. Crafted for long hours and constant movement, these uniforms blend functionality with Akasa’s youthful, inclusive design philosophy.
Lightweight sneakers with full-length cushioning and uniforms made using recycled marine plastic reflect not just ergonomic foresight but Akasa’s continued commitment to sustainability and crew well-being.
Empowered, every step of the way
Crew schedules at Akasa are designed with flexibility, allowing for adequate downtime to maintain personal balance. From the systems that support their day-to-day, to the culture of respect they operate within, every detail reinforces our belief: when crew members are empowered, they elevate the experience for every passenger.
On this day, we do not just celebrate — we honour the dedication, discipline, and professionalism that our cabin crew brings to the skies every single day.
