Almaty charter service begins for the season with first flight arrival at Manohar International Airport, Mopa

The arrival of the first charter flight from Almaty marks a milestone for Goa's tourism, showcasing its commitment to expanding global connectivity and welcoming visitors

Panaji ; 26 December 2025* ; Continuing the steady flow of international arrivals this tourist season, the first seasonal charter flight from Almaty, Kazakhstan, carrying 174 passengers operated by Fly Arystan, arrived at Manohar International Airport (MOPA) today at 10:25 a.m., further expanding Goa’s international connectivity.

The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, accorded a warm welcome to the arriving passengers with rose buds and a brass band performance outside the arrival area, offering visitors an introduction to Goa’s hospitality and cultural warmth.

By engaging newer source markets and supporting seasonal charter operations, Goa continues to expand its global outreach in a planned and sustainable manner. The commencement of charter services from Almaty this season reflects growing international confidence in Goa as a destination and aligns with our efforts to attract quality visitors while ensuring balanced and inclusive tourism growth across the State.”
