National, January 6, 2026: Café Akasa, the onboard meal service of Akasa Air, has introduced its fourth edition of the Sankranti Special Meal, curated to celebrate the spirit of Makar Sankranti through comforting, traditional flavours. Inspired by regional festive cuisine, the special offering features Theplas, served with stuffed brinjal curry, paired with Patali Gurer Patishapta and a beverage of choice. Available for a limited period from January 1 to January 31, 2026, the Sankranti Special Meal can be conveniently pre-booked across the Akasa Air network via Akasa Air’s website, www.akasaair.com, or the mobile app.

Bringing together the warmth of harvest festivities, the meal captures the essence of Sankranti celebrations enjoyed across Indian households. The thoughtfully curated menu blends savoury and sweet elements to deliver a wholesome festive experience, allowing travellers to celebrate the joy of the season even while in the air.
