New Delhi, India, 24th September – Tourism Pahang is set to deepen its engagement with the Indian travel industry through the highly anticipated Pahang Roadshow to India 2025, taking place on 24 September in New Delhi and 26 September in Chennai. This exclusive B2B initiative aims to foster stronger travel and trade partnerships between Pahang, Malaysia’s largest and most diverse state in Peninsular Malaysia, and India, one of Malaysia’s fastest-growing and most valued tourism source markets.
Organised by Tourism Pahang, the roadshow will feature business networking sessions, destination presentations, and product showcases that connect Pahang’s tourism players with India’s leading travel agents, tour operators, airlines, media representatives, and tourism associations.
India: A Key Growth Market for Pahang Tourism
With more than one million Indian tourist arrivals annually, India remains one of Malaysia’s top inbound markets. Thanks to visa-free travel, excellent air connectivity, and a shared appreciation for culture and hospitality, Indian travellers are increasingly exploring new destinations across Malaysia — and Pahang is ready to welcome them.
From the cool highlands of Genting and Cameron, to the crystal-clear waters of Tioman and Cherating, and the ancient rainforests of Taman Negara, Pahang offers a spectrum of experiences for Indian leisure travellers, families, honeymooners, MICE groups, and more.
“This roadshow is more than a promotional exercise – it is a platform to build lasting partnerships with India’s vibrant travel community,” said YB Puan Leong Yu Man, Chairman of the Pahang State Committee on Unity, Tourism and Culture.
“We are excited to introduce Pahang’s hidden treasures and iconic destinations to Indian travellers and tourism stakeholders.”

Each city’s programme will also include a press conference and networking luncheon, offering Indian media and travel associations a chance to engage directly with the delegation.
